Thanks for joining me!
I recently subscribed to a book club called Book of the Month. For only $15 , you can pick one book out of the featured books every month, shipping included. Plus, the first book is free! So I figured, why not? If you’re like me, you’ll go to the library once a year, rack up overdue charges, pay them off, and repeat the cycle. I usually end up reading ebooks because of this. But an ebook just isn’t the same as holding a paper and ink book, am I right? So, yea, I subscribed.
Anyways, I picked out my book, and waited for a tracking number. I waited and waited, and then got fed up of waiting; was this a scam? So I went on their website and sure enough, it said it had shipped the day after I had ordered. Pretty irritated, I emailed the company, asking where my book was, since it had been at least a week and a half since it has shipped and I had no way to track it. The response was extremely fast; I received a tracking number and an apology for it being held up by the shipping company (on a free book lol). Talk about good customer service! The joke was on me too, because guess where I found an email with all the same information? In my spam folder.
Anyways, my book came in the other day, and I opened the box. I finally had my exclusive book (they send books before their release dates in some cases), and they even sent a bookmark with it. The excitement was pretty palpable.
And then came the idea for the blog. I’ve always wanted to blog, but this time, I had a subject. Coffee and books, anyone? So here I am with my first post, about to read the first book I will review, and I’m inviting you to join the journey.
If you’d like to start your own journey, get your free book and monthly subscription here, and if not just join along for the ride.
Much love ♥️
